Computer Sciences Corporation has found that insurance companies are lagging behind in e-commerce because of the belief insurance must be sold, not bought and the fear of offending brokers.
Tony Barker, director general of insurance marketing for CSC financial services UK, made the comments after the company's annual technology survey. This found the number of financial services providers embracing e-commerce has grown dramatically over the past year, with the exception of insurance companies
