A new company selling general insurance over the Internet via the
websites of major brands will go live in the next few months.


Dublin-based Xelector is planning to sell motor insurance, mortgages and
credit cards via links on a range of "portals" - sites designed to bring
together services for homogeneous customer bases.


Xelector is supported by enba, the company behind Internet banking
operation first-e and which has CGU as one of its major backers.
