Alex Letts, chief executive of electronic trading platform Ri3K, is calling for an "established player" to fill the gap in transferring electronic messages at Lloyd's. He told Professional Broking: "There are 10 million messages sent within Lloyd's each year and we need something in the middle that will allow all parties to send and receive messages without re-keying or printing them. There is a window of opportunity between now and the end of the year for somebody to make this work."
