Direct Line has launched what it claims to be a revolutionaryInternet initiative which allows customers to buy motor, home, and car
breakdown policies online within two minutes.
While the insurer is by no means the first to sell policies over the web,
it believes that it has slashed the transaction time by as much as 10
minutes.
Direct Line said the speed of service has been achieved by reducing the
number of questions on the proposal form, with customers only being asked
