Insurance brokers are enjoying a surge in business confidenceaccording to a survey conducted by the Confederation of British Industry
and PriceWaterhouse-Coopers.
Results taken from June 1998, show a 93% negative rating in the business
confidence among brokers, a figure which has now jumped to a positive
rating of 37%.
Insurers were also found to be more optimistic, reporting the highest
business confidence figures since June 1992, with 76% of insurers
