Broker-only underwriter Fortis Insurance's commercial premiums grewby 83% in the third quarter of 2002. The company grew its premiums by
12.8% overall, with motor rising by 7.8% and household by 32%. The
insurer's gross written premiums now stand at £388m, of which its
commercial premiums represent £18.6m.
