Are you communicating?

Communication skills are key to the success of a telemarketing campaign, but there is a balance to be struck between knowing when to talk and when to listen as well as knowing how to. John Shetcliffe explains.

Everyone can communicate, we do it every day of our lives. We were
given our mouths, ears, eyes and hands with which to communicate. In fact,
almost every part of our body says something when we face another person
and want to transfer information.

But what happens when we are stripped of our visual contact and only left
with sound? Many people are lost if they cannot use their arms and hands
when talking, because their actions and facial expressions help to express
views, ideas and solutions.
