Premium Credit has written to its entire broker client base to inform them that it may be sold or floated on the stock market.
The letter, sent to brokers in July, states that the company's leading shareholder, Electra Partners, is considering selling its stake in the company.
However, the author, Sharon Beckett, managing director of personal lines and schemes division, also wrote that Premium Credit will continue to grow, whatever happens to its shareholding structure.
