When Neil Utley joined Cox Retail Division last year as chief
executive, many in the market suspected a shake-up of the Lloyd's group
was on the way. However, few predicted that one of the first casualties of
this would be Anthony Lumsden-Cook, chairman and chief executive of high
net worth syndicate Cox Underwriting Services.


His name had become synonymous with the Cox brand, and while he was just
two years off official retirement age, Mr Lumsden-Cook's departure
nevertheless seemed a little
