Q: I'm looking to buy a replacement for my PC. I work mostly at the office but often work at home to complete a job and am considering buying a laptop to carry to and from the office. What are the pros and cons?
A: Most modern laptops offer similar disk storage and memory capacityto desktop PCs, allowing them to perform the same tasks. For a similar
specification, the laptop is around a third more expensive.
One big problem with using laptops in this way is that the monitor,
keyboard and mouse are too small. To solve this, laptops allow an external
monitor, keyboard and mouse to be plugged in so you can probably use the
items from your current PC.
