Research commissioned by the British Insurance Brokers' Association has revealed that millions of UK small to medium-sized enterprises are failing to protect themselves and their employees in the event of emergencies such as fires, floods or acts of terrorism.

In order to increase awareness, a campaign has been launched to encourage the country's 4.3 million SMEs to ensure their businesses and employees are protected in the event of an emergency.
