Fortis Insurance hopes to roll out quick quotes on all its productsby the second quarter of 2003.
The insurer is piloting a quote system in January, building on the success
of the small and medium-sized enterprise quote system it launched in
October.
The pilot will initially provide quotes for shops and offices but Fortis
hopes to extend it across its whole product range.
The new system is not an extranet but it will allow brokers to phone, fax
or email enquiries and get a response within 10 days.
