Insure-com has launched an online postcode rating system. The ratingsare based on the entire postcode, rather than one half, allowing for more
accurate risk assessment. Business developer Chris Newman said: "We are
delighted to be the first to provide the insurance industry with full
postcode rating. As part of our controlled roll-out, a number of strategic
developments are planned for 2001, including offering household, pet,
travel and commercial insurance models."
