AA Insurance is about to go live with full encrypted credit cardpayment on its Internet quote facility. Launched in May, the online
service - www.theaa.co.uk - is providing up to 400 motor insurance quotes
a day and achieved a peak of 399 sales last month.
Beccy Hadley, press officer at AA Insurance, told PB the encrypted payment
facility will be added as an option to the "call me button", which
provides a call-back service, connecting users to a telesales operator who
can take their credit card
Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
