Motorcycle Direct has confirmed that it has been bought by A-PlanInsurance in a deal worth in excess of £1m.
Under the terms of the sale, the telebroker, which was set up just a year
ago, will remain as an autonomous operation, and continue to trade with
the Motorcycle Direct brand (see Professional Broking, October p1).
Arron Banks, a director at Motorcycle Direct, told PB that the firm will
be moving to larger premises in Thornbury, Bristol, and will be looking to
expand its staff by fourfold -
