The Arson Prevention Bureau is warning about the problems of arson
attacks on schools in South Wales, where an estimated 50 of the region's
schools suffer serious damage through arson attacks each year. Schools can
reduce the risk by deterring unauthorised entry, securing doors and
windows, installing alarms and ensuring combustible materials do not
accumulate.
