Legal expenses insurance company DAS has warned brokers to ensure they do not miss out on potential business when conditional fee arrangements (CFAs) are introduced next April.
DAS is concerned that solicitors seeking to sell CFA products will bypass brokers once legal aid disappears in the new year.
The insurer is urging brokers instead to promote the low-cost alternative of pre-paid legal expenses cover, which it believes provides wider protection.
