Experian has released two new databases for use in the insuranceindustry and construction sectors which provide details of every domestic
property in Britain.
The Building Stock Database will provide details on the type, size and
number of bedrooms, and the age of 24 million residences on unit postcode
level. It will mainly be used by insurers and loss adjusters for portfolio
planning, premium assessment and claims handling.
The Rebuilding Cost Database will provide information on the rebuilding
