Motor trade specialist Road Runner Insurance Group has invested
£150,000 on a new computer system, which will improve service levels for
brokers negatively affected by the collapse of Independent Insurance. The
system - Transactor CAS - is aimed at medium to large telebrokers trading
from a panel in general insurance. Group general manager Paul Inskip said
Road Runner expects to achieve an 80% growth in turnover for the year to
June 2002, a figure likely to level out at 50% next year.
