The Institute of Insurance Brokers has launched a national
advertising campaign promoting the merits of its membership.


The monochrome adverts, under the banner of "Buying Insurance Direct Could
Seriously Damage Your Wealth", have so far appeared in The Daily Express
and The Daily Mail. Advertisements in other newspapers and a television
campaign are also being considered.


The launch of the press campaign follows promises made by Andrew Paddick,
director general of the IIB, at the institute's EGM
