Q: How can I stop my staff from looking at 'inappropriate' material on the internet or using company e-mail for personal messages?

There is a whole plethora of filtering software available for
individual or networked PCs, which disallows access to sites and monitors
and disallows suspect content. SuperScout from SurfControl is just one
example.


As far as e-mail is concerned, 'spam' can be filtered but personal use is
more difficult to control. However, lists of authorised e-mail partners
can be automatically maintained. As companies are liable for any
