Fleet operators and motor traders must be compliant with the FourthEuropean Union Motor Insurance Directive by 20 January. The directive
requires that insurers of all UK vehicles can be readily identified using
only a vehicle registration number. The centre in charge of doing so in
the UK will be the Motor Insurer's Information Centre. Donald Martin,
