Several broker offices have been raided in connection with thebeleaguered broker Preston Whiteside as part of a full 'active' Serious
Fraud Office inquiry. Police investigators are said to have searched
offices in Northern Ireland, South Yorkshire and Leicestershire but exact
numbers and the brokers involved have not been released. No arrests have
been made but the investigation is expected to take more than two years.
