The British Insurance Brokers Association will unveil a technologyinitiative at its annual conference, held in Edinburgh this month, that
will provide members with a free e-commerce solution.
After initial talks with IBM broke down, BIBA teamed up with Cable &
Wireless and Internet service provider Business Freenet to create an
e-commerce package for brokers.
This will give BIBA members Internet access, a domain name and password
and the software to set up their own e-commerce trading platform. An
