Software house Misys General Insurance has released interim results showing revenue and profits similar with the same period last year. The news comes as Misys is investigating the possibility of selling the business as it is not core to its strategy.

In the first half of the fiscal year, ending 30 November 2005, revenue was £16m and operating profit £7.3m. These results are in line with last year's interim figures, which showed £16.1m of revenue and £7.2m of operating profit.
