Following the piloting of a commercial combined imarket product via Zurich, Worcester-based software house Open GI is set to integrate shops and offices with Axa via the universal commercial lines software portal. Open GI will pilot the Axa products with brokers in November.

Meanwhile, Norwich Union is set to develop a commercial combined product with Open GI, while Allianz Cornhill has a similar product in development.

In addition, a tradesman product is being tested with imarket, the process before insurers can roll out products. Open GI would not comment further on specific timetables for the products (CHECK).

Peter Knowles, strategy and marketing director at Polaris UK, said: "There are now a number of integrated shops and offices products available via imarket. We are pleased that a key software house like Open GI is soon to go live with shops and offices."

Open GI has recently acquired London technology house Mi for £12.5m. Mi has X revenues and X profit.
