Royal & SunAlliance is offering its agency brokers the opportunity of a 10% discount for auto-rated quotes for its Enterprise Office product via www.imarket.co.uk. Previously, quote requests were all referred to RSA's underwriters who would manually underwrite the risk and respond by email. According to the insurer, the automated process is available in around 40 seconds. Meanwhile, RSA has launched a directors' and officers' product over the internet version of imarket. The main product has been designed for small businesses with turnovers of up to £15m. There is an indemnity limit of up to £1m and includes legal, health and safety, and taxation advice, as well as stress counselling. Requests for larger business D&O will be considered by RSA's ProFin underwriting team.
