Brokersure.co.uk, Cox Insurance Holdings' internet-based broking
system, is launching a 'low user' package in the next two months.

The package is aimed at smaller brokers and commercial lines brokers with
small personal lines accounts. Lower level users will not have to commit
to a minimum amount of business and will not have access to features such
as free training or an automatic business-to-consumer website.

Michael Whitfield, managing director of brokersure.co.uk, said: "We have
been looking through the registrations for the website and some of them
are, in reality, not appropriate for the level of commitment we want. The
lower level would be good, for example, for a commercial broker who
accommodates a client with a little personal lines business."

The full system is now live in over 25 brokers' offices. It costs £75.99 a
month plus VAT for up to five users.

23 insurers have now signed up to the site, including Equity Red Star,
Royal & SunAlliance and Wren. This also includes Lloyd's insurers that are
accessed through Anthony Kidd Agencies.

Cox has also increased its shareholding in Insurancewide.com Services from
25.7% to 40%. Launched in December 1999, Insurancewide.com Services
provides personal lines products for Freeserve users.
