Broker managers are increasingly finding themselves at the sharp end,
facing claims both from clients and employees. The market approach to
policy points and coverage has helped put brokers in the firing line,
making it imperative to handle claims properly.


The largest claims against brokers follow a full or partial denial of
indemnity by insurers. Left inadequately insured, clients in this
situation often turn to brokers for redress. It is, therefore, essential
to verify that a policy will respond
