Following its listing on the London Stock Exchange last July, Policy
Master has turned in its first results as a plc, posting profits of
£1.06m, up 35% on 1997. The software house's turnover was up 30% to
£11.3m, and earnings per share increased by 36% to 7.5p. Steve Verrall,
chief executive of Policy Master, said: "1998 has been our best year ever
for sales of new systems. Such systems have been installed into broking
operations, with 75% of them displacing systems from our competitors."
