Sterling Hamilton Wright and Northern Underwriters have secured £8m
worth of capacity to provide combined liability cover for small businesses
in 2003.


The Max5 contract will provide employer's liability and public liability
cover for small businesses with up to five manual workers. It offers
comprehensive policy wording and acceptable occupations, incorporating a
new carrier specifically for sole traders. To spread the risk, Max5 asks
for five standard manual businesses for every high-risk sector
