Legal & General research has revealed that 15% of UK citizens have no idea how much it would cost to replace the contents of their home. In response, the insurer has developed an online calculator in the form of a virtual home, enabling customers to work out the value of their possessions, room by room. It is hoped that customers will be able to place a more accurate valuation on their contents by using this service. The calculator is available at www.legalandgeneral.com/contentscalculator.
