The Benfield Group is to float on the London Stock Exchange in a bidto raise additional capital to take advantage of the current market.
While the independent international reinsurance intermediary is set todomicile in Bermuda, it will seek a listing in London. In a statement,Benfield said it believed now was an appropriate time to raise furthercapital by means of a public listing. The capital raised will provideBenfield with additional financial flexibility.
