Sir Laurie Magnus, chairman of Xchanging Ins-sure Services and investment banker, has slammed top London market chief executives for a "lack of passion to sort out real problems" and criticised the "sense of complacency" in the London market.
Sir Laurie said the London market had failed to tackle the problem of inefficient claims handling, spiralling overheads and paper mountains, caused by inefficient back-office systems.
