Europ Assistance survey reveals European holiday trends
According to the research British travellers spend more money on holidays, holiday more often, use the Internet more for booking their next holiday, and are the least worried about the risk of terrorism. Findings include:
Fall in British fear of terrorist attacks when abroad – just 19% are concerned about the risk compared to 32% last year British consumer focus shifts in 2008 from climate to budget when choosing a holiday destination The British spend more on their holidays per household than any other European country - £2,051 (2584 Euros) against an average of £1,751 (2206 Euros) 63% of British holidaymakers now use the Internet to book their holidays British holidaymakers care least about climate and rest onOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
