A senior industry figure said to me recently that the insurance industry is expert at managing risk. I think that this opinion will be tested to the max over 2009.
What I don't think I had appreciated until recently was that more clients will probably shrink than completely fail and that this will have an even greater impact on the broking sector than clients going out of business altogether.
One large broker I spoke to recently said that although it was easy to measure the number of clients lost
