ABI reopens debate

It was interesting to see the Association of British Insurers (ABI) reopen the debate on the way in which financial advice is paid for.

The proposals - which are now to be the subject of a consultation - have been put forward under the heading Financial advice - how should we pay for it? and include a radical simplification of commission structures; an annual commission statement for every customer; power for customers to move commission payments between advisers and further 'mystery shopping' by
