An alternative accommodation firm that specialises in housing clients in the midst of a claim, told Polly of a tale involving a gentleman in his late 30s who managed to run up an £1,800 hotel phone bill in the space of a 12-hour stay. Apparently, when asked to settle the extras on his bill, the man in question confidently replied that the insurance company was taking care of
