Biba and ABI to launch code for helping vulnerable clients

vulnerable

The code is expected to be ready in Q1 2016.

The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) is working with the Association of British Insurers to develop a joint code for managing the policy renewals of potentially vulnerable customers.

They aim to have the code, which will be voluntary for members of both associations and apply to motor and home insurance customers, ready in the first quarter of 2016.

It will raise awareness of the additional support and advice brokers can provide to vulnerable clients who are renewing their insurance
