Nexus MGA launches new broker portal
Nexus Underwriting Management has launched an online broker portal in conjunction with global systems integrator Salmon.
Using its RiskWrite software, Salmon created a system over eight weeks which now supports 1,800 clients.
Nexus appointed Salmon to implement a broker portal following the establishment of Nexus Professional Risks, which was formed after Nexus purchased Novae’s regional financial lines business at the end of 2011.
Neil Hodges, insurance executive at Salmon, said the key benefits of the portal are that it is fully integrated and managed on the IT end, with someone from the insurance business
