The recession has been driving people and companies to desperate measures and causing a new insurance fraud boom, according to Cunningham Lindsey. A study by the company showed that suspicious creditor insurance claims increased by 100% last year while commercial property claims identified for special investigation increased by a third. A new Cunningham Lindsey service - Trace and Status - will enable insurers to track down negligent trades people who cause damage to a property and then abscond
