TBS sets up second-tier network
The start-up network Total Broker Solutions, headed up by chief executive Mike Williams, has moved to set up a sister operation, Community Broker Services, targeted at smaller brokers in need of compliance and IT support and access to markets.
Mr Williams said: "Hundreds of these firms are struggling to cope with the FSA's new regulatory demands, rapid changes in the way business is transacted via the use of technology and the increasing difficulty of finding real working partnerships with supporting insurers".Mr Williams said added that Community Broker Services is built around a package of compliance support, integrated into a pay-as-you-go IT system and a market offering which gives access to tailor-made products and services
