Hill House Hammond to close contact centre

National insurance broker Hill House Hammond is set to close its Northampton contact centre putting 150 jobs at risk.

The company said that as part of an on-going strategic review and plans for 2004, and subject to a period of consultation, it intends to close its contact centre in Northampton.

Northampton came into the company's portfolio with the purchase of Premium Search in 1997.
