Former chief executive of international business at Zurich, Martin South, has joined Marsh as ceo of its UK operations. At Zurich, Mr South was responsible for all operations outside North America and Europe and emerging markets. Prior to joining Zurich, Mr Smith spent 12 years at Marsh in wholesale broking, principally with international clients. Mr South said: "I am looking forward to returning to Marsh at a time when there is among companies an increasing appetite to understand and manage
