Axa has piloted an initiative with Stuart Alexander and two unnamed brokers to streamline its account-settlement process.
The insurer has 'web-enabled' broker statement of accounts, accounts reconciliation and premium settlement. The project will then gradually be rolled out to broker partners from May this year with a view to rolling out more widely to brokers via the imarket portal.
The pilot has also made the movement of monies between insurers and brokers more transparent so brokers can access
