The broking community reacted with shock to the untimely death of the director general of the Institute of Insurance Brokers (IIB), Andrew Paddick.
Tony Cornell, industry consultant, said: "Mr Paddick's death leaves a huge hole in the industry. I cannot think of anyone else who has made a bigger contribution to the broking sector."
