Thomas Miller, the marine insurer and risk services provider, has rolled out a tool to store its electronic communications, following a successful pilot. The e-mail Xtender software, supplied by Legato, is designed to centralise and automate the storage and retrieval of e-mail, reducing management time and making it easier and faster to administer. The tool also enables IT management to set rules that determine how, when and which e-mails are archived automatically by the system. This means that
