The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has banned James Richardson, former CEO of Insure & Go Insurance Services, for attempting to mislead the regulator and for not being candid in his dealings with the firm's former auditor.

The regulator said Mr Richardson had failed to act with integrity, and he has been prohibited from performing 'significant influence functions' in relation to any regulated activity.
