Webchat feature for Halifax online customers

A new webchat feature has enabled instant support for Halifax online home insurance customers. Customers can click a button to initiate a webchat with a sales adviser during the quote process, and a chat box will automatically pop up when customers pause too long on a page. Halifax said this would help identify areas of its site that caused confusion and needed improvement. The company said there had been an increase in completed online sales since the webchat's launch.

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
