
Davis Group profits increase
Transport and commercial insurer The Davis Group increased itsprofits last year by 44%, recording turnover of £27.4m to October 2002 - aresult that it said was achieved through strong sales and organic growthwithin its retail and wholesale divisions.
Chief executive Leigh Smart confirmed the group had set an aggressivetarget this year of £38m, with first-quarter figures showing a 45% premiumgrowth year on year.
